At the February meeting, the Illini Bluffs #327 school board unanimously approved hiring Mrs. Katrina Craven as the elementary school principal. In the announcement to IB staff, Superintendent Dr. Roger Alvey writes, “we will never forget Mrs. Huene and the job that she did, but I think she would be pleased knowing that Katrina will continue her legacy.”
Katrina is currently a Special Education Administrator for SEAPCO, a position she has held for three years, and oversees five different special education programs including High School Life Skills, High School Emotional Disabilities, RISE Transition Program, Early Childhood Program, and Cross Categorical K-12.
